CCNP Collaboration is a certification that opens doors to a world of possibilities. It's about using cool technologies to live and work remotely. By getting CCNP Collaboration certified, you prove that you have the skills and knowledge to build incredible solutions for our ever-evolving, hybrid work environment. To earn this certification, you need to pass two exams. The first one is called CLCOR, where you'll show off what you know about collaboration technologies like the Cisco Internetwork Operations System XE gateway, call control, and Quality of Service. The second exam is a concentration exam that lets you specialize in something you love. Pass both exams and join the league of elite professionals, making an impact in the exciting world of modern collaboration!
Our modular CCNP Collaboration training programs aimed at catering to various technological needs and demands of the individuals and the industry. We have successfully helped a large number of students to achieve their Cisco certification goals in the last 10+ years. Octa Networks means guaranteed technical training which ultimately leads to Cisco certifications
To achieve new CCNP Collab certification, the candidate will have to pass not more than 2 exams. Any additional specializations are most welcome but the candidate needs to pass a core exam and one of the concentration exam options available in the respective track. Besides the CCNP Collaboration, core exam also acts as qualifying criteria for attempting the CCIE Collaboration lab exam.
CCNA is no longer a qualifying criterion for attempting CCNP Collaboration. Candidates can straight away appear for CCNP Collaboration examinations provided they have the necessary knowledge and grasp of the practical application of the know-how.
To earn CCNP Collaboration certification, candidates need to pass core exam which covers Collaboration technology and one concentration exam of his/her choice based on his/her technical area of focus or job role requirement.
CCNP Collaboration Core exam:
- 350-801 - Implementing and Operating Cisco Collaboration Core Technologies (CLCOR v1.1)
CCNP Collaboration Concentration exam:
- 300-810 - Implementing Cisco Collaboration Applications (CLICA v1.1)
- 300-815 - Implementing Cisco Advanced Call Control and Mobility Services (CLACCM v1.1)

Frequently Asked Question
You need to pass one core exam and one of the concentration exams from the options available in the same certification track to achieve your CCNP Collaboration certificate.
Yes. The same technology core exam 300-801 (CLCOR) will serve as the core exam for the CCNP Collaboration and CCIE Collaboration certification in the respective technology track.
In the revamped structure, if you pass the core exam and one concentration exam in the same technology track, you can achieve your CCNP certification. CCNP has five tracks as of now (Enterprise, Data Center, Service Provider, Security, and Collaboration). Each track has one specific core exam and a number of concentration exam choices. CCNP Security has 6 concentration exam options. CCNP Collaboration has 4 concentration exam choices. CCNP Enterprise has 6 concentration exam options. CCNP Data Center has 5 concentration exam options. CCNP Service Provider has 3 concentration exam options.
Once you clear the technology core exam, you can clear the CCNP exam within 3 years of passing the qualifying technology core exam to get the CCNP certificate.
Having a CCNA certificate is not necessary before appearing for the CCNP technology core exam and or the concentration exam. You can directly appear for the technology core exam or any concentration exam provided necessary concepts and knowledge of the exam topics are understood clearly.
All the current certificates will be valid for the full three years from the date of certification. If you achieve CCNP Collaboration certification before 23rd Feb 2020, you will get the five new corresponding certificates which will have the same validity as that of your original certificate. You will get a CCNP Collaboration certificate and four more certificates. certificates are:
- Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Core
- Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Applications Implementation
- Cisco Certified Specialist –Collaboration Call Control & Mobility Implementation
- Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Cloud & Edge Implementation
If your CCNP Collaboration is incomplete on or before 23rd Feb 2020, the following are the migration scenarios. Current CCNP Collaboration certification consists of four exams CIPTV1 (300-070), CIPTV2 (300-075), CAPPS (300-085) and CTCOLLAB (300-080).
If you have cleared any one of the four current examinations only, then you need to clear the new Core exam (300-801 CLCOR) and one of the concentration exams out of the four options to get the new CCNP Collaboration certificate and corresponding Cisco Certified Specialist certificate.
If you have cleared CIPTV1 (300-070) and CIPTV2 (300-075), then you will receive Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Core. You will need to clear any one of the concentration examinations to receive the new CCNP Collaboration certificate.
If you have cleared CIPTV1 (300-070), CIPTV2 (300-075) and CAPPS (300-085), you will receive CCNP Collaboration and 2 more specialist certificates namely Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Core and Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Application Management.
If you have cleared CIPTV2 (300-075), CAPPS (300-085) and CTCOLLAB (300-080) you will receive 2 specialist certificates namely Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Cloud and Edge Implementation and Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Application Management. You will not receive a New CCNP Collaboration certificate for that you need to clear core exam 300-801 (CLCOR). A similar migration plan is applicable if you have cleared two exams CAPPS (300-085) and CTCOLLAB (300-080) only.
If you have a clear combination of CIPTV2 (300-075) and CAPSS (300-085), you will get Cisco Certified Specialist – Collaboration Applications Management. To receive the new CCNP Collaboration certificate, you will have to clear core exam CLCOR (300-801).
For every exam cleared before 23rd Feb 2020, you will receive the corresponding Cisco Certified Specialist certification. Following are the details:
- CAPPS (300-085) - Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Applications Implementation
- CTCOLLAB (300-080) - Cisco Certified Specialist - Collaboration Cloud & Edge Implementation
